e-Parking: a new parking payment system in Belgrade

From Monday, 3rd August, a new method of electronic parking control and online payment is being implemented in the zoned area of Belgrade.

As part of the "Belgrade - Smart City" concept, which is based on the digitalization of services provided by public and utility companies under the City Administration, JKP Parking Service has introduced a more modern, digital system for payment of daily parking tickets (fines) for drivers who have exceeded the designated parking time or have not paid for parking in the appropriate zone.

The previous practice of issuing daily parking tickets on car windshields will no longer be applied.

Instead, Parking Service inspectors will issue electronic daily parking tickets, and drivers will be able to check any fines by entering their vehicle registration number on the website of the relevant company, where they can also make online payments.

During the first month of implementing the new e-Parking system, drivers who receive fines will find a notice under their windshield wipers and will be able to settle the debt online immediately.

As before, a 50% discount will apply for payment within 8 days.

In addition to SMS payment, zone parking can now be paid through an e-card at newsstands and kiosks, as well as through a mobile application that should be available for download in the coming days.
