New line of Belgrade train

On Friday, April 13, 2018, the second line of BG Train will start operating, from Resnik station to Belgrade Center station (Prokop). The line will initially operate with a temporary schedule, with a frequency of 60 minutes from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Departures from Resnik will be on the hour (6:00, 7:00, 8:00... 21:00, and 22:00), while departures from Belgrade Center station will be at half past the hour (6:30, 7:30, 8:30... 20:30, and 21:30).

The line will have five stations: Resnik, Kijevo, Kneževac, Rakovica, and Belgrade Center. The travel time is 18 minutes.

At Belgrade Center station, passengers will have the option to transfer to the first line of BG Train towards Novi Beograd and Zemun, as well as towards Autokomanda (Karađorđe's Park station), Vukov Spomenik, Pančevački Most, and the left bank of the Danube.

Bus line 36 provides connections to Slavija, Nemanjina Street, and the Main Railway Station, while line 34 connects with Banjica on one side and Senjak on the other.

This operating schedule will be in place until mid-year when the line will operate at full capacity with a frequency of 15 minutes during peak hours and 30 minutes during off-peak hours. The line will also be extended to Ovča station.
