Trams across Ada - detailed routes of the new lines 11L and 13

From Friday, 5th July 2019, the long-awaited tram traffic across the bridge on Ada has been established. In the future, two tram lines, 11 and 13, will operate over the same bridge, with their starting stops being Kalemegdan (Lower Town) and the terminal at Banovo Brdo, respectively, while both trams will have Novi Beograd's Block 45 as their final destination.

However, until the reconstruction of Karađorđeva Street is completed, the route of tram line 11 will depart from the Tašmajdan terminal and the line will have a temporary designation of 11L.

By introducing two new tram lines into the public transportation system of Belgrade, there should be a significant relief of bus traffic and a reduction in congestion, primarily on lines 85, 89, and 94, as well as on other lines connecting Block 45 with the "old" part of the city.

Additionally, there will be a significant reduction in travel time between the final destinations of these tram lines. This primarily applies to line 13, which will be about 7 kilometers shorter compared to its previous route that passed over the Old Sava Bridge. With the establishment of line 11, after the completion of works in the city center, a large number of passengers will also have a direct connection to the city's central core.

Starting today, lines 11L and 13 are included in the routing system on PlanPlus, and you can view their detailed routes and newly established stops here.
