"Hawk Eye" gains momentum - additional 121 streets under scrutiny! (MAP)

After September 1, when 28 new central streets in Belgrade were included in the "Hawk Eye" mobile vehicle recording system, three weeks later, the number of streets under the scrutiny of the municipal police increases significantly.

Specifically, starting from Monday, September 21, an additional 121 streets will be included in the "Hawk Eye" system, bringing the total number of monitored streets to 242 since the introduction of the modern vehicle recording and control system in Belgrade.

As a reminder, the "Hawk Eye" system has been in operation since July 27 with the aim of photographing and penalizing, as well as preventing improper and reckless parking on roads, sidewalks, yellow lanes, tram tracks, green areas, or pedestrian crossings. Furthermore, since September 1, these modern-equipped vehicles also monitor legally parked vehicles in designated parking zones.

In less than two months since the implementation of license plate recording technology, "Hawk Eye" has recorded thousands of violations, which were sent as violation notices to the owners' addresses.

In addition to bringing order to the streets of Belgrade, the "Hawk Eye" system provides a significant influx of funds into the city treasury, and it is not excluded that in the near future, the entire zoned area of Belgrade and the most important peripheral roads of the city will come under scrutiny.

Below you can see which streets will be under the surveillance of the municipal police starting from September 21.
