We are a company that has been on the market since October 1991 when Hipnos was founded. Through highly successful cooperation with our clients, we have built significant credibility and trust, establishing ourselves as the most reliable and efficient agent for purchasing the cheapest airfares.
Soon, we took the lead in terms of ticket sales for all airline companies with representation in this region. We received awards for the most successful ticket sales from the following airlines: KLM, JAT, Austrian Airlines, Swissair, Lufthansa, British Airways, Air France, Alitalia.
- In March 1995, we started operating on the Swissair Galileo GDS reservation system.
- In June 2001, we switched to the Galileo GDS reservation system.
- On June 15, 2005, Hipnos issued the first electronic ticket in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, which on June 1, 2008, fully replaced paper tickets worldwide.
- In December 2007, we introduced the Amadeus reservation system. In February 2008, the agency's headquarters moved to Maršala Birjuzova Street 47 in Belgrade.
- In July 2008, we introduced an online system for booking more affordable air tickets at www.hipnostravel.com.
- In July 2013, we implemented the online reservation system Travixx, which operates on the latest Travelport Universal API technology, as the first user in Southeast Europe.
- In August 2013, we were the first in our region to introduce the possibility of online booking special fares for seafarers and their family members.
- In June 2014, we launched a new version of an improved search for online air ticket sales, providing a comprehensive overview of low-cost and regular carriers in one place. This unique overview enables travelers to immediately select and purchase the most favorable offer by choosing between low-cost and regular airlines, with all the necessary elements tailored to their travel preferences.
